It comes in 6 and 8 cylinder petrol, diesel and gasoline engines. In 1953, the W120 'Ponton' 180 was the first modern car to be launched.

The S-Class is the biggest and the most spacious model in the Mercedes Benz array except the limited Mercedes Benz 600 limousine.
